Update and Prayer Request April 2026
April 14, 2026
Brothers and sisters in the Lord,
The end of the 2025-26 academic year is coming into focus. As I type these words, we are in our final week of lectures. Next, we head into two weeks of exams that lead into our semi-annual, celebratory potluck meal. Shortly after that, a good number of our students will be undergoing classis exams, either to receive permission to speak an edifying word (licensure) or become eligible for call among the churches. See student profiles here.
Thinking of Psalm 127, as well as LD 50, all this "care and labour" will only be good for our students and the supporting churches if the LORD blesses it all. So please join us in remembering these matters in your personal and congregational prayers:
- Stamina and insight for the students as they write their CRTS exams;
- Courage, clarity, and faithfulness for those students appearing before classis to undergo exams;
- Discretion for the churches, as vacant congregations may be considering extending calls to students;
- Patience for those who are, or will be, awaiting calls;
- Blessedly productive summer months for seminary staff, professors, and students in summer internships.
Once more, we extend our heartfelt gratitude to everyone for your support of our seminary community in so many different ways. Your love and generosity are noticed frequently and appreciated deeply.
