November Update and Prayer Request

November 28, 2025

The first semester of the 2025-26 academic year has turned a corner and now heads down the final stretch. Each day as we head to our seminary building, we are reminded that we are governed and upheld from the throne of God and of the Lamb (Rev 22:1,3). This fills us with zeal for the task and reminds us that the righteousness of Christ covers our sins and weaknesses. Please join us in bringing these matters before our heavenly Father in prayer:

• We give thanks for a busy and blessed semester. We praise the Lord for familiar routines of communal prayer, teaching, learning, and fellowship. Our new freshmen class is integrating into the seminary community well. New relationships are being forged, and they have tackled their studies with vigour.

• Next Tuesday (Dec 2) we begin our two-week exam period. Please pray that our students will receive wisdom and insight, as well as physical health and stamina to work through this intense time of the year.

• Finally, we look forward to our potluck lunch together as CRTS community on Dec 12 and then a time of rest for everyone. It will be a welcome break! Please join us in asking the Lord for his blessing over this time of recharging and also reconnecting with family and friends, including safety for those who are travelling.

We remain grateful for all your prayerful and financial support. It means a lot to us. May our LORD continue to use this seminary to send forth the light of his gospel into our hearts and into his world, also as we look forward to commemorating the incarnation when the Word became flesh and dwelt among us to redeem us (John 1:14).

In Christ, Dr. Jason Van Vliet (principal)
