Thank you for your application to the Master of Divinity program at the Canadian Reformed Theological Seminary!

Your application has been received and you have completed the first step. There are, however, a couple more steps in the process before your application can be marked complete and be presented for consideration.

1. Please request your transcript to be sent directly from your institution to CRTS. It should be sent to 110 West 27th Street, Hamilton, Ontario, L9C 5A1, Attention Registrar’s Office. Alternatively, transcripts may also be sent electronically to [email protected].

2. If you have taken your language courses separately from your bachelor’s degree, please be sure that those language course transcripts are also sent directly to CRTS.

3. Please request an attestation (letter of reference) from your church of which you have been a member in recent years. This attestation should include a good testimony about your Christian faith and life, as well as an honest assessment of your suitability for the ministry.

4. The CRTS Registrar’s Office will contact your ecclesiastical and academic references directly. It is your responsibility to advise your references in advance.

5. For international students only, you may have to take the TOEFL test (minimum score, 4.5) to prove knowledge of English. Please see this page for more information and for our institution code.

Please note that applications started, but not completed within 6 months, will be deemed abandoned and will be deleted from our system.

Sit in on classes and chapel. Meet with faculty. Talk to current students. Join one of our scheduled campus visit days for prospective students or arrange a visit that works with your schedule. Contact the Registrar’s office for more information.
