Here at CRTS, we are grateful to God for his many good gifts during the 2024-25 academic year! The recent close of the year saw our faculty and staff busy with marking and year-end meetings, while many students set to work preparing for their examinations at classis and getting ready for placements in local congregations and mission projects.

This summer, several students will be involved in Preaching and Pastoral internships: Zachary Bonura (in Burlington-Fellowship), Jayden Houweling (Chilliwack), Caleb Poppe (Glanbrook), Thomas van Leeuwen (Houston), Klaas Cho (St. Albert), Arjan Vandermeer (Hamilton-Providence), and Marco van Renssen (Edmonton-Immanuel).

Please ask for the Lord to give an enriching time to the students who will also be participating in Mission internships: Jonatan Boon (Mexico), Noah Holtvluwer (Ajax-URCNA), Jarrell Lemos (Wyoming, Michigan - OPC), Arjan Vandermeer (Hamilton-Blessings), and Marco van Renssen (Brampton).

Eight of our graduating students, as well as a graduate from last year, will soon be going to classis in order to become eligible for call, God willing: Damon Bosveld, Mitchell Bosveld, Todd Linde, Joshua Schouten, Marc Vermeulen, Fred Struik, Adrian Tams, Reese Gaillard, and Kevin Wattel. Two other graduates, Quentin Vandermeulen and Hongdi Chen, will be serving local congregations for a number of months before they seek eligibility for call. If you haven't read them yet, compelling profiles of our ten graduates can be found here.

With students receiving permission to speak an edifying word or becoming eligible for call, the Preaching Availability page will be updated regularly. We commit all our students and graduates to the Lord for his strength and guidance as they humbly seek places to serve Christ in his church.

This coming summer at the seminary, faculty and staff will be working on their various tasks, whether lecture preparations, library updates, writing projects, teaching tours, or something else. May it be a restful time for everyone as well. With thankfulness to the Lord, we expect several new MDiv students in the coming academic year. May Christ continue to build his church through the ministry of his Word in our churches and mission fields!
